On Wednesday, April 30th, ASTO was represented in the cloisters of CES – Colégio do Espírito Santo – as part of the activity program for visitors during the Open Day. This initiative took place within the framework of Expo UÉVORA, the main event of the University of Évora’s Open Days program, aimed primarily at high school students preparing to enter higher education. It offered a valuable opportunity to get to know the campus, the institution, and the range of academic programs offered.
In collaboration with the Social Sciences School's program to promote the University of Évora's Tourism degree, the ASTO team was present in the afternoon with two well-established in-person activities – "Viva os Objetivos!" (Long Live the Goals!) and "O Jogo do Património" (The Heritage Game) – designed to engage participants, answer questions about the course, and share the research work being developed by the observatory.
This event served as another opportunity to raise awareness about the role of scientific research and highlight the contribution of undergraduate and master’s students in Tourism to the development of several ASTO projects and initiatives over time.
